FinIQ signs first Malaysian Equity Linked Investments deal

May 2010, Kuala Lumpur

FinIQ today signed its first ever ELI client in Malaysia. The bank will use the platform to distribute and process various types of ELI instruments through its retail network. The system will automate the functionality starting from product publishing, order pooling, deal creation and event management, settlement and correspondence amongst other things.

FinIQ's first client in Malaysia went live in 2007 which was for automating the bank's structured notes or FRNID business with front to back STP involving over ten system interfaces, including web based access by over thousand branch users, support for regulatory reporting, custody functions and automated payments.

FinIQ also has 5 clients live on its Dual currency investment module and is hoping to add another 3 banks in this quarter.
